Garment measurements in inches, taken by hand with the piece laid flat. Measurements may be off by about 1/2 to 1 inch.
Length — from the center back neck seam straight down to the bottom hem (from the neck seam, not the hood).
Chest — straight across the front, about 1" below the armhole. This is the flat width, so double it for the full circumference.
Shoulder — across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
Sleeve — from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
Hem — straight across the bottom opening, laid flat.
The easiest way to use this chart: lay a shirt you already like flat, measure it the same way, and match the numbers.
